The complicated politics of real estate development hang heavy over the race for Hyattsville's Ward Two City Council seat. In interviews with Route 1 Reporter, the three candidates vying to replace outgoing two-term incumbent Shani Warner — Danny Schaible, Emily Strab and Robert Poisson — all highlighted issues relating to development, such as affordability and opposition to the proposed Magruder Pointe redevelopment.
